Beauty Forecast: The Looks That Will Trend in 2016.

As 2015 comes to an end, we look back on the year that was ruled by contouring, highlighting and fully lined lips!

Although we have loved and embraced every one of these gorgeous looks, we are forecasting a more “natural” look in the new year.

So, here are the trends we foresee will rule Beauty in 2016!

Statement Lips
Because, in the new year, we are going to give bronzer and extreme eyeliner a much deserved “little break”, we are going to embrace a bold, sexy, red pout.

We Love: Guerlain KissKiss Shaping Cream Lip Colour in shade 324 Red Love

Bold, But Not Too Bold Brows
It is really very simple, go easy on the brow lining, basically what you don’t want is overdrawn, “sharpie” like brows!  Keep your brows simple, natural and well groomed.

We Love: Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Natural Eye Brow Pencil

Youthful, Dewy Skin
Yes, my makeup draws are also fully stocked with matte and powder products, as this has been the look that has dominated 2015. However, the new year calls for a more natural, skin like, glowing dewy look.
So, replace your powders (foundation, bronzers, highlighters and blushes) with cream and liquid alternatives to achieve the “perma” glow!

We Love: Chanel Vitalumiere Fluide Foundation,  Butter London Cheeky Tinted Highlighter,  Yves Saint Laurent Voile De Blush Gel Blush,  Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer Bronzer SPF 15 in shade100 Sun Kiss

Not So dramatic Liner
Although we do love a good dramatic cat eye, 2015 was saturated with fully lined eyes! So in 2016, we are going to tone it down a little, with just a sweep of thin liner on the upper lid, because after all, our bold, luscious lips are going to make the statement!

We Love: Estee Lauder Little Black Liner (Thick + Thin + Ultra Fine)

Bare Your Beauty and Femininity
2016 is all about embracing the real you and letting your natural beauty shine through. For this, all you need is a little concealer under the eye, a barely there blush and mascara!

We Love: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Flawless Wear Concealer,  Christian Dior Cheek & Lip Glow Instant Blushing Rosy Tint,  Lancome Grandiose Wide Angle Fan Effect Mascara

The New Year calls for a more natural, new you!
